SEO, from Basic to Expert Users

Designing websites and campaigns to drive visitors to company site will make most Online Marketers spend a great amount of time and money. Marketers need to ensure that when a visitor landing on the site, then the visitor eventually becoming a customer. An added values proposition needs to be stated clearly on the landing page. The page visitors who enter the site then have enough reason to stay long enough and get convinced to become a customer. First impression really do matters; although to become a customer might involve several more pages on the sites, but the landing page is the first impression that a visitor has about the site.

The first landing page is so important that Marketers need to constantly optimize their landing pages (as well as other pages) to ensure they can get more visitors engaged and drive them though the conversion funnel. The key to any landing page optimization campaign is by listening to your customers. Yes, they are your best landing page designers since how they feel about your site is getting along with what is working and what is not. Even a few simple changes can lead to very significant gains, especially the composition of each parts of landing page such as: Headlines, Images, Text Size, Font Color, etc.

But it would take much more than that to obtain the top entry page with a bounce rate higher than 30%, which then that might be the low hanging fruit that you want to go after. Search engines need to be able to read the text on your webpage to figure out what it is about. If there isn’t any text, then your site most likely isn’t going to rank well for anything. There are some inexpensive SEO tactics you can try; the key is in a thorough and well-organized strategy.

You first must decide whether your main objective is to drive traffic, to create awareness or to sell something. Ideally, the SEO Consultant should understand: Business Objectives, Marketing Strategies, Demographics of Target Audience, Media Mix & Flight Dates, Creative considerations, Messaging, Success Metrics, Dependencies, and Methods of Measurement. You should be careful and aware that not all SEO experts are the real deal as they claim they are
